Point of Entry for East Coast MR's

So with people on the west coast starting to take delivery and my estimated ship date here on the east coast coming up fast (10/18) I been looking over all my papers etc etc.

I see that on the dealer-link printout I had there is a column called POE and under mine it says BAL. Im guessing POE means Point of Entry and BAL is for Baltimore?

That fact confuses me cause I thought all MR POE's were from Long Beach or Tacoma Washington , then placed on truck/train to their destination.

So you other east coasters (I live in NY but my deal is in PA) whats listed as your Point of Entry?

I "think" that a POE can be any place where the cars are finally checked in, the accesories are attached and the stickers printed. It doesn't have to be a port on a body of water. That's why I've seen an Evo or two with "DSM" as their POE because they were checked in at the Normal, IL plant. JAX, BAL, TAC are others.
Brunswick, Georgia is where a lot of cars come in too.

Newark / Elizabeth, NJ seaport is a small POE for cars.... But not as big as baltimore. dont know if any mitsu's get delivered to this port though... Baltimore might be your best bet.

Yep, mine is coming in thru baltimore port as per dealer link with an estimated ship date of the 18th, just trying to track it anyway I can (is it on a boat/rail/truck at the moment?).

My MR is coming through Baltimore too (supposed to be at the dealership prior to the end of Oct). I was given a status detail from the dealer which lists the ship as BELLONA.

^^ I dunno. My dealer said they will be getting theirs from the Jacksonville port on Nov 2nd. And this is the largest Mitsu dealer in GA.
