im dead serious, start it at a buck and let people bid on it. cancel the auction if it doesn't hit high enough.

If this guy posted with no reserve, and a starting bid of $1.00 you could do that..

Unfortunately, the starting bid is $35,ooo plus so your theory won't work..

Evolution MR's in Stock

As per Evo8Lvr's message. I work for Bell Mitsubishi in Rahway, NJ. We are only getting 7 Evo MR's for the whole year. The production is only 1000 MR's for the 2005 Model Year. We have 3 in stock and 1 is sold (Graphite Gray). We have available a silver and white. If you are interested, call me at 732-388-8800 - Mike Jafar - Bell Mitsubishi.

Typical sales pitch. The old "Buy it now while you still have a chance" routine. Don't worry too much about it, Mitsubishi does a lot of work and research to figure out what the market demand for a particular vehicle is. If they are only importing 1,000 this year it's because they have determined that they won't be able to sell more than that amount due to market demand at the price point they set. If they sell 1,000 in the first two months ( there's no way they will) you can bet they'll turn the assembly lines back on a bring another 1,000 in. Look what Subaru did with the WRX in the first year. Did they think they were going to import 10,000 of those cars that year? No way, but they did just to meet the market demand. I don't think something like that will happen with the MR because it's not intended to drive that kind of demand. Trust me on this there's always a contingency plan in place to maximize their profits.

If they sell the mr really fast, they'lll just take some rs's off the assembly line and turn them into mr's. They will pump them out if there is a demand.

Oh, I'll buy it from him instead of dealer for the wearable mp3 player. Did you know that the 10 year powertrain warranty only applies to the first owner of the car?, I would have to get a deep discount to lose the 10 year powertrain warranty. If you are 2nd owner, you only get 5 year warranty.

It goes with the owner NOT the car? Are you sure it's NON-Transferable??!

This is a good point to remember if true. Good post.

Oh and that e-bay MR is one of the best car listings I have seen in awhile!

Chick and all!!
