Question What is Invoice on a MR?

Thinking about buying over the next few days and I want to be able to negotiate under sticker. What is invoice?

Invoice is probably something you'll never get on an MR. Most dealers I've heard of are marking the car up. If you get sticker, or even a couple hundred off sticker, consider yourself doing good.

You could always get a wholesales license and buy it from the dealership for 20% off.

Ask the sales person. Here in CA, they are required to show it to you if you ask.

If they don't show you the factory invoice, leave and go somewhere else.

If you have the full amount in cash up front than getting it at invoice would be a possibility (might even be able to knock a few hundred off the invoice) otherwise good luck!

^^^negative. paying cash for a car does NOT give you more leverage. if anything, you're LESS likely to get a good deal since the dealership can't sell you financing.

I just paid cash for my MR, no discount, only MSRP. They sold three today and one more Grey MR @ $3k over MSRP. And I know they are hoping for an idiot to show up and buy it.
