it shows only the RS and MR models that have the new lightweight aluminum roof and not the GSR.. is that correct? as i thought all '05's have it??

Only the 05 rs and mr come with the aluminum roof.

 

take 20 lbs of the belly and we will be just fine .

 

the gsr doesnt have the aluminum roof becuase it is the only model were you can get a sunroof..

 

on another post it seems like someone said he'll trade in his 03 for an 06 evo 9
also said he'll miss the sunroof make it sounds like the 9 wont have sunroof at all

 

I think you've mistaken the aluminum rood with ACD and front LSD which all the 05 model has along with the larger turbos.
