Mitsubishi will never go away. They are majority owned by Mitsubishi Tokyo Financial who is an enormous bank in japan. They will continue to pump money into Mitsu Motors no matter what the cost until things turn around.

 

You guys forget that Mitsubishi has and is the BIGGEST bank in the world. You really think they would let a Japanese Icon just disappear. Sad thing is most of you guys own a Mitsubishi but lack confidence in the brand. Sure Mitsubishi Motors is suffering but what car company did not. Mazda and Subaru are doing well but they had to be bought out buy a another car company. Mitsu is actually trying to revive itself without the help of any other car manufacturer since Daimler Chrysler pull out. Makes you think why they did that. Maybe to make Mits Motors stock price fall then they can finaly afford buying them out. Which I think Mits head in Japan won't let it happen. Also whoever thinks that the pathfinder is better than the Montero must be nuts. The Montero has been tried and tested thrue the Dakar Rally, and the Pathfinder???????
