's corporate website. It's not a bad site. Has some good info on it.
Back on topic. Considering that the Lancer Sportback met its demise in just one year, it seems rather unlikely (unfortunately) we will see the EVO Wagon in the U.S.
Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see what it looks like.
I have a 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX Sport Wagon because I needed the room for people and stuff and I wanted a turbo/AWD car. If there was an EVO Wagon with the same capabilities I would more than likely dump the WRX for it. Personally I wish they'd bring the GT-A back as I need an auto for the daily driver car. I'm not the only one driving it.
I remember the 1st time I saw a Ralliart SportWagon in the streets of Miami, it was a white one, and just the stock low stance, lightly tinted windows, and the sport OEM bumpers & wheels made it look awesome...!
At that time I was considering a new ride for the wife, but when I checked it out at the Mitsu dealer, I found they only had Auto transmissions, and the price was quite steep (north of $20k), so I waived it goodbye...
I don't know if an EVO SportWagon would sell so good here, but in my opinion, that thing would be an awesome replacement for my P5, in white...!

I doubt after the Sportback did so miserably they'd be foolish to bring over an Evo wagon.
Yeah. It's called a Dodge Magnum SRT-8.
Maybe they will do a Ralliart Outlander, but I doubt it will have a turbo engine or AWD. Just the "look" of the Airtrek R.

The Impreza wagon is pretty small inside. The Focus Wagon has no power and handles like junk. Sport and space seem to be a hard combo to find.
I bought a Ralliart Sportback. It has as much space as some SUVs and it's a great car. I wanted something sporty and fun to drive but needed enough space to fit stroller and haul some stuff with me. A lot of people ask about it and like it.
I think the Sportback should of sold a lot better but no one knew it was out there. I found out about it by happenstance. Mitsu needs to advertise!!! In general I'm amazed that there arn't a ton more Ralliarts around. A car that looks like an Evo that costs under 20K that has 160 hp and 160 torque.
I think the Evo Wagon would be great. It would sell (maybe not to the same people as a regular Evo). And I think ther is no chance in hell your going to see them in the U.S. after the bath they're taking on '04 Sportbacks.
I got my Ralliart Sportback for $15.3K out the door (just over $14K) I don't think your doing to get dealers very enthused to bring in new wagons when they are having a hard time selling the last of the '04s when the '06s are here.
I think an Evo wagon would be great. I'd want to get one but I'd be amazed if it came out in the U.S. If they did they need to to do a lot better job of promoting it.
