Mitsubishi UK Press Web Site

Here is a website with Mitsubishi's UK press releases. You can see other Photochop views of the Lancer Evo X concept, and will probably be a good place to get the low-down on new Mits models.

Holy crap!!! An electric Evo that is Rally capable! That must weight a ton!!! Then again, the motors and battery weight is SPREAD EVENLY OVER THE ENTIRE VEHICLE!!! Wow, 4WD where the power is actually in each wheel. Electric = instant max torque across the range and with it in each wheel, instant power for grip! This thing obviously doesn't need the hood vent or intercooler then. Anybody have any idea what the yellow boxes in the diagrams are?

The site says the curb weight is 1590 kg == 3505.3 lbs. Keep in mind several things were taken out of the car (engine/turbo, fuel tank, transmission, differential, drive shaft) and replaced with the new hardware.
