had to end one day, to bad it is today
Actualy, I think I've heard that the Lancer Ralliart is going to come with AWD and the turbo. It will become what the EVO is now. The EVO X might well end up with much more refined features and probably higher power, etc. Personally, I'd like to see an EVO X with more elegant, subtle styling. I'd also like to see the auto/manual tranny with the paddle shifters. If they get a tranny like the Audi DSG and an engine with less turbo lag, it would be awesome. Also, I would not mind it if the car became more comfortable and feature more luxury options. There is no need to sacrifice very much in the performance area to gain a lot in the comfort/luxury area. Personally, I'd enjoy an EVO with the performance we all love and the refinement and luxury of a S4 or M3.

^ that is not the point for the Evo. No luxury just performance is what the Evo stands for. To me it seems that with this new design it is becoming more civilized. If i wanted luxury i would of bought a BMW or benz.. as stated before the VIII and IX will represent what the Evo was meant for.

^^ IMHO that's irrelevant. EVO stands for evolution. Evolution is just that. From Merriam Wester online:, evolution is described "a process of change in a certain direction". Obviously the EVO X can and should be evolving . There is no proscribed direction, and a direction towards a more comfortable yet, high performing vehicle is quite appropriate. Anyway, surely there will be more cars with the unfinished, rough edged image that some people prefer. Personally, I'm a bit burned out of driving a race car in my everyday commute and errands. I rarely get to drive it anywhere close to it's capacity or limits. I'll be ready for a more refined, evolved machine. BTW, I'm actually considering the purchase of an A3 2.0T with DSG to replace my MR. If it were not such a "starter car" I'd gotten it already....
