I think there is going to be one model of the EVO at first. Mitsu is going to try and bring a more "upscale" approach to the evo X, which I personally think is going to hurt sales.

If this "upscale" attemp fails, expect to see the EVO XI released with a SUPER agressive package. People love the IX... why change?

 

rumor is the new infinite gtr will have a stripped down race version for special order. perhaps this, coupled with the future 350Z supercharched version will let mitsu realize that even "upscale" cars still need to appeal to purists

i'm really not into the whole upscale performance car. I own a bmw, and it's just not the same as an evo. it's too insulated, quite, and heavy. I hope mitsu realizes that the reason people buy evos is because performance is #1 for a lot of people, so there better be an RS!
