How the hell do know that? Honda is more likely to build something that is more reliable and durable than Mitsubishi. That's what Honda's reputation is built on, reliability and durability.

If a timing chain is being used, no worries - no belt to break.

we can't relly expect to see mitsu put those magnesium alloys anytime soon. They are still using the iron block up until now

Dude
If I get a turboed car that doesnt break, Ima push it till does. Simple as that. I'm not talking about stock reliability, if you want that, get a Scooby. I'm talking about people pushing it to it's limits

this is very true...and have posted this over at scooby forums also

dsm/evo/mitsu owners push thing to the limit, most scooby panzies dont, I dont(yes i drive a scooby)...

i will say what the other person said again, if honda ever came out with a turboed sports car, they will go down the same path mitsu and subaru has, which i getting tight and locking down on warranty problems...because people will abuse it

Honda does not have that warranty and i would drive a honda then a regular mitsu anyday. The only car I would drive from mitsu is the evo. I owed many hondas in my life and never had a problem. But me alone means nothing. look at consumer reports on honda's and toyota's. very high when it comes to reliability. If yo want to look at warr, hyndia also has 10 100 also, but would you own a hyndia? I will wait and see what this new block has to offer. I came from a turboed gsr that was sleeved. And my experience is that if you push aluminum blocks, they will break. So i myself will not speculate on the block. i will wait a few years before i jump into that lake

[QUOTE=TunerES;4246862]Do you think the Alluminum engine will be any good? I know the 4G63 was cast iron. I heard BMW is making Alluminum also. I am somewhat dissapointed that they changed the engine, they could have made it better.[/QUOTE

BMW using aluminum thats old hat, magnesium has been there metal of choice for almost a couple years now the n52 is there most produced motor and its in everything!
