Evo X S-AWC
A clutch dump doesn't have to do with AYC. I think the biggest issue was the reliability and longterm maintenance that kept AYC out of Aspec. There's 3 oil resevoirs to change on the unit alone on gvr4s and evos at 4500 miles and it ain't cheap.
1 reservoir, 2 oils. The transfercase takes regular 75w90, the trunk reservoir takes hydraulic fluid and the AYC takes regular ATF. The hydraulic plate fluid only needs to be changed once every 30k or so while the ATF can be changed when ever you change you TC fluid.
And clutch dump will be hell on any diff components that aren't made for it.
In my opinion if it ain't allowed in WRC is shouldn't be put no an evo
