More real world photos
I don't see many changes from the prototype to the production vehicle. Like someone commented earlier, mirrors, foglights, etc., well the production model isn't rolling on 20 inch wheels either. The look of the production model would change dramatically if it were rolling on some 20s and low profile tires.
I'm with you guys on once people see it in person, drive it, magazines test it out, and it lives up to the hype, owners will swear it's the best car ever manufactured.

I have an 03 EVO8 and I have 06 EVO9 envy. That being said I flipping hate the EVO10.
Cars do not grow on me. I either love them or hate them right from the get go.
The very first time I saw a 2G-B GSX I fell in love with it. The very first time I saw an EVO8 I loved it. The very first time I saw the EVO9 I loved it even more especially with the JDM rear bumper.
I was holding out hoping the 10 would be even more sick but instead it makes me sick. God D@mmit I hate the pig face on the EVO10. Seeing this EVO10 makes me wish I had taken the plunge and got a Black EVO9 MR SE. The prototype was almost acceptable but I wouldn't own one. Current release is a POS.
All you yahoo's talking about performance are full of crap. There is virtually no limit to the number of mods you can do to an 8/9. The stock 4G63 can reliably handle 500whp. The car comes with true AWD and is darn reliable. What in the hell do you want from a car?
The people that truely care about performance aren't the street racers and dyno queens. Its the folks out there road racing the crap out of their EVOs. If you don't have brownbos on your EVO you probably wont understand.
If mistu wants to improve performance they need MORE RPM, MORE DISPLACEMENT, MORE AIRFLOW, LESS WEIGHT. The new motor might provide more RPM but that's pretty crappy if you toss another couple hundred pounds on the car.
People calling the current evo an econo box shouldn't even own an evo. The car was intentionally minimalized so F OFF!

So are the front fenders,
headlights,
hood,
roof,
side skirts,
rear doors,
rear quarter panels,
rear bumper,
spoiler,
and maybe the rear trunklid. I thoguht the trunklid had larger accents under the tails, but maybe not.
So yeah... All the parts are the same, except for nearly all the parts.
I think the X looks great. It looks kind of european-ish styled, and since I'm a fan of European cars so I think it looks good. Hopefully I can see one in person soon. The deal killer for me is the price, I'm sure it will be over $30k and I can't justify that kind of price in my current situation. I miss the days of brand new VIIIs going for 26k. Also, since I have a family I want to make sure it is safe and side airbags are always a plus.
i think that the grey evoX posted is some sort of base model.... note the unpainted mirrors, front grille, and no actual emblem....... im sure that there will be "prettied" up versions....... i wonder if thats some sort of RS model
but ill bet money the GSR versions will have painted mirrors, and maybe a dark gray paint added to the grille area, much like the prototype....
i think thats whats killing it for me... the lack of "bling" so-to-speak..... its too base-model'ish
