look at the new wrx. it looks like a new hydro electric car. lol i serously think they have ran out of ideas over at that company. how many times do they have to change the front??

There is not much of a change.
1. Side mirrors (not the best)

2. Flares (wish they kept it; looked more aggressive & this is where I think some people really hated about the production version )

3. Rims ( different size, automatically changes the car's personality)

and 4. The friking gas tank is round vs square. (Who cares?)

I think the overall dissapointment for me is the loss of the fenders. That looked nice and made a dramtic change on the car's look and personality.

But a grandpa's car?

From the Prototype X, I agree I liked how they were.

The flares on the Evo X are the same as on the Prototype X. There was no change. The Concept X was a different matter. Frankly, I'd go with either, but I think I prefer the style used on the Prototype X/Evo X.

Again, no change from the Prototype X. The BBS rims are the same size and style from Prototype X to Evo X. Both the 12 Spokes in the pictures and the split 7-spoke BBS rims will be available.

The Concept X however had 20" rims; seems a little like bling/overkill.

The gas door is unchanged from the Prototype X to the Evo X. Both are square.

Uh I am speaking of the production version vs concept and prototype.

On the first pic, the collage that was shown, the gas tank is not round?
The angle sucks so I might have undermined the shot.
But everyone knows the concept and prototype are similar.
Talking about the one you will be driving.
The production lost flares, side mirrors, 20" rollers.
And the flares on the first collaged pic are much more robust. It really shows that it extends from the hood.
We all know that the concept and the prototype is for the hype.
That was stated in every survey.
Wait..are you saying that the 20" BBS's are going to be on the production?
I heard that was just for show.

I mean I love the car.
I plan on trading 08 Lancer for it on the 2nd year of the X release.

In the comparison with 4 pictures, TOP is the Concept X, 2nd from top is Prototype X, 3rd and 4th are Production Evo X.

The Prototype X is nearly the same as the Production Evo.


The Evo X has the same kind of flares the 8 and 9 have, and they are the same flares the Prototype X had.

No, the production Evo is getting 18" rims in both 12 spoke Mitsubishi branded rims (as in the pictures), and Split 7 spoke BBS rims (as on the Prototype X). Both were shown in the leaked vid.

What I was saying is that 20" rims are a bit much for a performance oriented car. Even 18s are pushing it.

I agree with Teasers!!! the Evo X is a BIG dissapointment.

The headlights are ugly as hell!!!

Mitsu is playing with fire, the Eclipse and Galant got worse too.

have a look at the new lancer in blue white and black... it looks sexxxxxy!

like the new sti... looks ugly in the creme/badge color, but looks really nice in blue black white.
