Thats true, people are just saying its not that bad because it has a evo tag on it. The car plan out sucks, only good thing is the head lights, it performs like crap too, a second slower in the 1/4 and probably only a tenth a sec. faster in turns. And when ZO6 come in a auto let me know.

 

actually i think that u might b able to get the X in a 5sp manual, i don't know if that is true.and that does'nt mean that i like the x i'm just holding my opinions till it i see it.

 

hopefully itll compete in the x games rally cross event and spank all off those subies. and i wouldnt mind seeing how much of a beating it can take durring a rally race.

 

The licence plate location takes away ALOT from the front, worse then the 8 / 9. The X is growing on me, i like it more and more i see it. White is gona be bad ***. Wait a year, then everyone is gona be on the X's ball sacks.

Never in the history of lancer Evolution have this much hatred towards a new "EVOLUTION" has taken place.. yeah yeah previous models got some hate but never in the upscale we see in todays so called X.

The truth of the matter is that all the hype talked about this piece of crap is getting shut down.. what happened to that 300+HP what happened to that 0-60 in 4.5secs.. must I go on..

No doubt it has edgy technology as well as a nicer interior but damnit its new direction doesnt do justice to its legacy.. They have let the vast majority of true Evo owners down..

While trying to amplify their market they have started a new chaper, a new chapter in which previous evo should have not been carried along.. they should of just let the evolution alone and started from scratch..

Many say this is a new breed.. well then why the **** did they carry on the evolution badge.. they should of just badged this so called new breed something else..

You are supposed to use narrower tires when driving on dirt for better traction. As for the smaller wheels, the smaller size is to prevent excessive damage to happen to the wheel from bumps and jumps.

 

That is a picture of a race car. It's job isn't to look pretty, it only needs to go fast. Go lurk in Show and Shine if all you care about is the aesthetic.

 

I agree with Redline on this one. This EVO X will be something totally different and the last generation of Evos that we have come to love will die with the 9. Oh well..

Let's face it the VIII and IX have aesthetic shortcomings as well. These cars were never meant to win the beauty contest. Our cars are SLIGHTLY warmed-over econoboxes.

My VIII could be paper bag brown primer for all I care. I bought it for the way it performs.

Maybe my wife would like an EVO X. When she's done with it, the aftermarket will have tons of cool parts ready.

 

Maybe. But we don't know how the new engine will take to mods. Nor do we know how tunable it will be. I'm quite sure there will be restrictions that we haven't been used to with all the electronics of the suspension system. Also, I'm not to sure the 4B11 will be all it's cracked up to be.

But I'm skeptical cause I like my car..

You obviously know nothing about a Rally setup. It's ugly, but for a reason.

And most would prob agree that a dual exhaust is nothing but rice on a 4-banger. I guess this car is a POS too, huh?

 

Nobody is talking about a single tip on a V12, we are talking about double tips on a 4-banger. Most rally cars are not ugly either. And tell me what reason the RR X has a roof scoop? Cause it is so ugly, but i don't see a reason.

 

I like the X and plan on buying one. However, in rally form it looks stupid.

Honto, the roof scoop is to provide cooling air to the driver and co-driver.
