Aaahhh, now we need to see if it can be retro-fitted to other models e.g. Evo X.

It is now on sale on japan, called the RVR. It will later be released on europe as a 2011 model, and it will be called the ASX. Detailed info is that I know of, only in Japanese, a language I know nothing about. It is supposed to come later to america. Also to mention it has a GIGANTIC sunroof and ambient light. Heres a photo:

Mitsubishi is definitely improving on refinements.

^ LOL yes but an inch and a half goes a long way when you are sitting in the driver seat.

I, myself dont really have a problem with the steering column on my ix but i can see why some would like this feature.

Here's the video with all features on the Outlander Sport (RVR/ASX)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8rzj...eature=related

Sadly I doubt all the features will make it to U.S. market... why? who the F$^# knows, Mitsubishi's administration is one dumb group... regardless of any "cutting features to reduce price" kind of explanation they may come up with...

Edit for a quick pic:

I think that front grille competes with the infiniti fx's as most likely to eat the car in front of you.

On another note, is that some kind of sh*tty aerodynamic snorkel coming out of the drivers side fender?

All those features should have been on the X MR Touring already... auto folding mirrors, telescoping steerin wheel, start-stop tech, remote start, etc...

Couldn't agree more.

And I think this features will get to the US, but as in japan, only in the highest trim. Maybe the next Evo/Lancer will have an upgraded interior similar to this.

And to xi, that is a mirror from the JDM, it supposedly gives rear visibility without turning your head to the normal rear mirrors

No. That is a blind side mirror commonly found on JDM cars.
