Mitsu's Global Small Car planned for Fiscal-Year 2011

US Colt on its way!?? I'd say yes!

http://www.autoblog.com/2010/12/10/m...t-in-thailand/

Looks like Mitsu is aiming at 2011 for Thailand and perhaps 2012 for the rest of the world.

They're also talking about 1.0l and 1.2l engines respectively... which to me sounds like the 1.0l for the pedestrian trims and 1.2l for the turbocharged Ralliart trim

there's no way in hell they're gonna sell a 1.2L in america... no way... that thing better be able to house at least a 1.5L or maybe 1.3-1.4L turbo.

Looks pretty good for an economical DD. I'd take that over a prius or smart car anyday

As for the motor, stick in a 1.5L and a 1.8L like in the Miatas. A 1.0L and 1.2L may be a bit too small

A 1L engine would be almost iimpossible to move forward on a big incline with the A/C on

Redacted.

As cool as that design is in the link above, it appears to be a non-commissioned work by an independent designer. Maybe Mitsubishi should hire that guy.

has like 4 different models with the same front as the Lancer, I don't know why the heck they've decided to do that, but they should really stop.

I heard from a Mitsubishi sales rep that we were supposed to be getting these a while back, but the boat sank on the way here. Sounds kind of unrealistic though. He showed me pictures of it, it had the same front as a lancer, and it had a Ralliart trim which had the same front as a Ralliart lancer. Is was turbo awd, pretty sweet
