My wish :

4 wheel drive through wheel-motors, infinitely controllable, torque vectoring and the like.

Pack it with batteries and a diesel generator. Get 70+mpg, or some crazy number like that.

Make it smaller as planned.

Now who wants to buy one?

Mitsu will soon vanish in the automotive world. Sad to say, but it will.

And..I dont think it will make the X itself any more valuable. So to you X owners out there, dont try and sell those x's for 50k haha.

I really dont see it helping the valueof the evo at all to the general public. Us enthusiats might feel they are worth more, but I think thats where they will hold their higher value, if any.

Until there are no more real engines and you'll be forced to walk

The next Evo should have a petrol engine if it's going to be Hybrid... either petrol or diesel, still a real engine lol

But Mitsu its ***** to the wall on their green crap... expect no Evo in a long while...

wth, people at MITSU have no clue or are in a disarray. if they thought that sportscar development contradicts their Eco friendly vision, then why didn't they develop the Evo hybrid/EV or diesel/EV? so there is no gap? what this means is even if they stick with EV, who is going to buy their boring selections? it is not like they invented the concept? the Evo is the only vehicle giving them automotive relevance

Quite possibly the stupidest move they could have made. The Evo is still universally recognized as a performance car, and a huge part of Mitsu's identity. If they abandon that, they become an Eco SUV company without much positive reputation in quality. Then they choose NOT to take advantage of the Renault/Nissan alliance to produce an XI? Just dumb.

2015 EVO continues as the same model, 5spd ONLY, no MR model.
2016 new Lancer debuts with EVO model to follow.

Have to agree here. They've never really had much of a market share to begin with.

Perhaps they'll just stick with making deep dish TVs
