Mitsubishi closing in the US?
Even as a higher volume Evo dealer, we maybe sell 5 or 6 a month.
Outlander Sport/RVR is by far as a way their highest volume seller.
But he's working on another special project right now.
I don't know that this will happen on a manufacturer level. But uuuuuuh, we've talked to a special partner of ours about the possibility of a Ralliart Outlander Sport, as proof of concept that we want to have made for our dealership.

I doubt we will be seeing a new Evo any time soon. That is a quote from a few weeks ago. Ryugo Nakao, head of Mitsubishi's Product Projects and Strategy Group. Basically, don't expect another Evo until they release one with a hybrid powertrain.
In cooperation with PSA, Mitsubishi made special Outlander for EU market. Equipped with TC-SST and 154hp PSA Diesel. So the question is why the hell not?

Nope, can't imagine why people would predict the demise of Mitsubishi Cars NA. Total speculation with no basis. Also has nothing to do with their generally inferior products, mediocre dealer network (no offense intended... just talking volume), or not-so-stellar reliability.
They're not doing this to shut the doors three months later. Future death possible? Sure. Not in 2014, though.
I just bought my eighth Mitsubishi two months ago, a 2014 model.
I'm not ignorant to the fact that Mitsubishi has been hurting for 10 years. Obviously every body knows that.
