Id like to see more performance changes. Something other than luxuries (heated mirrors, cup holders) how about something to try and boost sales (more power, lightweight etc)

Recaro's heavier then the base lancer seats might be the weight saving right there.

 

No I was joking, meant on reducing the weight by not offering the spare wheel in the stock package.

 

Yeah the thing with sports cars, esp evo/sti, you never know what you're gonna get with a used one. I'll wait til more details are released on the 2015 before I get a used X.

It's definitely not a bad buying point saying that you bought an evo x in the last year of its production. similar to how the evo ix's were in 2006. that car is a classic.

 

Well, yea.. But the IX was a one year thing. Just 2006.. And it was the last year of the 4G63.. Etc. The 2015s will be special because it was the last year of the Lancer Evolution.

I'm gonna prolly buy one, but it won't be as special or treasured as a IX..

 

Glad I have my 4G63 now..I enjoyed my time in the X. great experiences in both.

Mitsubishi is making a mistake by killing the Evolution based on the car lineup.
