To do something like put a GTR engine or something similar in evo X body and sell it around 50-60K in US??

I went to Nissan dealer to honestly pick up a gtr and when I saw the price tag over 100K I was like **** no..last time I went to the Nissan dealer in 2009 the price was 69K

 

0-60 in 2.8 seconds aint' cheap bruh. Go see what the cars that the GTR does battle with cost and you'll see it's a bargain, but not for the average joe blow, but for the guy that could buy that 911 Turbo 4s.

 

You can always get a used one

 

GTR's were never priced at 69K new. That is about what you would pay for a low mileage 2009 GTR today

 

The original MSRP for a gtr was actually just shy of 70k for an '08.

Finding one that wasn't dealer marked up out the *** because of lack of supply and extreme demand on the other hand was near impossible unless you placed an order well before they were delivered, but the fact is they still had that msrp.

 

Mitsu drops 4 bangers in Evos and sells them for $35-40k. With a GTR engine knowing mitsu they would probably charge more than what Nissan does!
