New 05 evo parts
Well, we just got the new catalog update CD for Mitsu parts. It has alot of the new Evo parts in it. It has the new MR wheels in it, and the Bilstien parts. The new MR wheels are 849.23 each and the part number is MN184113. The front Bilstiens are 637.37 each and the part number to those are MN101890. The rears are 512.78 and the part number is MN184113. These are just a few parts I looked up. No vortex generator..or different head and tail lamps as of yet....in the cataloging....that does not mean we won't get them...they will probably update it again when the 05's actually come out. But the selector switch was in the cataloging for the ACD and so was the 6th gear for the tranny, also the shifter for the 6spd was.
Thought everyone would like to know this....it is almost here guys....

$3400 set of wheels? With the Advans on, you're talking some serious money if folks rip those off your car. Retail of about $4500... ouch. Sure with discounts and wholesalers you're probably talking $3K, but... no insurance company would like those getting lifted.
$850/wheel seems awfully pricey. The BBS wheels aren't exactly normal wheels (they are stupidly light), but that does seem expensive.

Anyone have any idea if the head on the MR is identical to the head on the Evo VIII. I know it probably is, but it's the determining factor of having a head built ahead of time or waiting to pull the MR head and have it built. There may be some differences as the block underwent some small amount of redesign. Anyone know about this? Thanks.

Remember, parts are just that... parts. Build a $30,000 car from scratch, part by part, no assembly line and such, and it'd cost you faaaaar more than $30,000. Heck, smash the car into the tree and just fixing the front end could cost you that. Happened to a friend of mine. $38K car into tree @ 45mph. Repairs (insured, of course) came out to about $34,000, even though only the first third of the car was damaged.
That price for the bbs wheel is about 100$ more than subaru charges for its sti bbs. The scary thing is the tire rack sells the same model line of bbs and their 17x7 goes for $512. They just cant sell you one for an sti becuase of "licensing"
