My arrival date is now solidifed it seems, to be somewhere between 10/15 and 10/18, rather than the guess of 10/2 the general manager originally put out there.

Have my VIN and VON. Color is confirmed to be Graphite Gray/Black, but no price yet.

And it's all printed out so it can go in my binder. Going to keep this car documented like I would any other limited-production high-performance vehicle.

My dealer told me that my MR had a ship date of October 10th... I had a question though.... for anyone that has had experience with Mitsu financing... how flexible are they on financing. I have $6,000 to put down on the MR. Hoping to get financed and not miss out on my 05 grey MR.

yeah... it's always better to see what rate you can get from your own people first...

let's say you're approved for 3.5%... when you go into the dealer and they come back with 4.99... say well my bank offered me 3% and just wait a see what he says.... try to make it look like you're not lying too if he comes back and says sorry, no way no how, say fine, i'll take 3.25% and at most... if he can't get 3.25% ask him what he CAN get... obviously 3.5% would be perfect... if it's anything higher just take the option contract which gives you 3-5 business days to take your contract to the bank and then it's between you and the bank.

hope you could use some of this information. i know a lot of people who've gotten ****ed in similar situations.

Hope everyone can be a little patient, I talked with MMNA, national distribution people today and apparently all the MR's are gonna be behind schedule. The ship dates you have also need to take into account how far they have to move the cars after they get out of the port at LA or Tacoma. For instance Phoenix takes a day by truck, but Texas may take 2-3 days by truck or end up going by rail, typically 5-7 days to deliver. No one is saying why the hold up, I've heard everything from hurricanes to cargo ships breaking down at this point. Hopefully will get more info. Dealer business meeting is today so should get some idea there.

Thanks bro, any additional info you pickup today let us know. My ship date is 10/18/04. I am hoping that you are just stating that those that were quoted crazy ship dates of 9/22 and 10/01 are the ones getting pushed back...(not every1).....to the real roll out that happens on or around the 18th.

My dealer told me the car would be released on the 18th (sheet verifies this), then about 10 days after he will have it for me to pickup (PA). Anticipation is high! LOL!
