EVO MR test. Finally!!

Hi guys,

I am very new into the EVO forum but soon to be a owner of a EVO. Anyway, I am here to share some information on the latest test driveon the new EVO MR.

I know that a few months ago you guys saw the other Evo MR test on one of the Road and track magazines back them the 0-60 was 4.3 and 1/4 mile 12.9@108mph not bad at all.

Well, this newest magazine Motortrend October edition tested the EVO MR again but also against the 05 STI.

This are the EVO numbers:
Base Price $34900
239WHP@6400 on the Dyno jet
248lb-ft@3750 rpm running 20.3psi of boost
0-60 4.7s
0-100 13.1
1/4mile 13.2@102.2
Weight distribuition 61/39% and by the way it pulled a full second on the track ahead of the STI.

STI did 4.7s on the 0-60s . 13.2@100.1 on the 1/4 mile

after you void your warranty on your new evo by adding a few mods(hey, it's fun!)... all of those numbers become quickly irrelevant...

There is already a big thread about this article on this site. In fact, someone scanned the article and posted it.

Here it is: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=96844
