ok, i hooked up the safc2 correct in my Evo 8 and the damn thing wont let the rpm range pass 4500 rpm...is it the wiring that i messed up on or the settings? help please.....

 

wiring... check where the rpm signal is connected to.

Power (red)----pin 25
ground (brown)----pin 26 (closer to ECU)
ground (black)-----pin 26 (away from ECU)
RPM (green)-----pin 58
TPS (grey)------pin 84
Air flow signal out (pink)----pin 90 (closer to ECU)
Air flow signal in (orange)------pin 90 (away from ECU)
Knock sensor (purple)------pin 78

for some strange reason, one post showed RPM as pin 88.. http://www.evotuners.net/forums/sho...p?&threadid=111 totally screwed my RPM.. it was reading low.. switching to pin 58 fixed it..
