Question Increasing Boost Slightly

I just bought a UTEC and i have the 1.7v with the Stage 2 base map form TurboXS. What is the easiest way to increase my boost level to 19 or 20psi. I only have a TBE right now. So i just want to tweak the boost level for one of my maps. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

RS

Stock boost is 19.5 psi max on the Evo. 20.3 psi max on the MR. I wouldn't advise raising more without other internal modifications to handle the extra boost.

You wanted to hold boost?? That's a different story...

Why would he want to do internal work to raise it to 21psi?
Everyone and their mother have it that way. It's not like you drive on road course every day.

By the way, stock boost is 19.5psi peak which usually falls off to 16psi right away.
When I upgraded from 1.3 to 1.7 on the UTEC, my boost fell even a bit more. Just holding it at 19psi helps lots.

Easiest and cheapest way is manual boost controller.

Or you can just install the 'ABC' module and control your boost the same as a manual boost controller. my .02

I'm trying to find as much info on this unit as I can since I might purchase it.

Could you explain what the 'abc' module is.

thanks!

ABC stands for Auxiliary Boost Controller, its basically an auxiliary bleed valve to allow you to enhance the stock solenoids boost levels or tune it for a specific need.
