Just installed
Well I got the UTEC installed tonight but if my battery didn't die on me I would have posted some logs. Malibu I have a huge concern before I go ***** out on the Stage 1 map. My car is still dynoflashed, if Im guessing right this will most certainly be too lean, correct? I will have to start fresh from all 0's? Oh and just a heads up I do not have larger injectors.

The BEST way to start with a Utec, is to get the ECU flashed back to stock. A couple of members here had dynoflashes alogn with their Utecs and have encountered some tuning problems.
Yeah, the problem with starting with a flashed ECU is the unknown "Baseline".
a few things that you should know about the UTEC and a flash..
1) If you use Open loop Fueling, the Fuel map is internal to the UTEC, so your flashed ECU fuel map is Irrrelevent, however the timing map is still used if you use "ECU" in the map.. Keep that in mind when tuning the car.
2) Injector scaling gets a little tricky when you have a flash, and it will take careful trial and error to get it set up... however it can be done.. the stock injector scaling and modified injector scaling don't have any real relationship to eachother (Stock scales the MAF, modified scales the OLF injector duty, or the built-in base map on the UTEC) If this confuses you, then don't do anything with the UTEC yet.
3) if you already have an ECU flash, you might NOT want to use the stage1 map at all, but come up with your own, additionally its likely you may not want to use the Open loop fueling and use the MAF tweaking features instead of driving the injectors directly.
VERY VERY important.. Don't use the MAP1 until you drive and log data for several days on MAP0 (the passthrough) Watch your AFR's (if you don't have a wideband, don't even think of tuning the car or altering any settings until you can borrow one or get one somehow on the car)
Like another member said, the best bet is to flash back to stock, but its not necessary.. unfortunately if you have trouble with the UTEC in conjunction with a reflash, we won't be able to help with specific tuning questions because the "baseline" for your car is different than other cars..
If you want to use open loop fueling, the way the UTEC works is the fuel and timng are completely in control of the UTEC, the exception is the closed loop fuel control, and low load (30% or less throttle position) tuning.. That is typically where people have trouble.. Therefore injector scaling if you go with larger injectors needs to be a trial and error thing, start safely and very rich, then work from there..

Yup it does work. I called TurboXS on the way down to the dealership. All you ask for is the P0300 refalsh, jast make up some BS that you had the code read at Autozone and they reset the CEL. Worked for me.
