Why my MAP sensor won't work
Sorry for the size of the pic, but it will give you a sense of the ****ty work my friend did with the wiring. Thank god I bought 2 of these and enough connectors. When I was buying this I thought about buying 2 of them because it never fails that something will go wrong, and it did. When I was trying to calibrate the sensor the MAP on logger 4 was at 254-255 when the car was off and the same under boost and vacuum. My wiring is well under 3 feet and the hose is about 7 inches, it is tapped into the little 4-5 inch hose on top of the valve cover. Please refrain from looking at this picture too long as it will inject stupidity into you. I should have taken side shots to show how far the terminals were actually in there. Only the wire in #2 spot is completly clicked into place #1, and #3 are only about half way in. Now that I thought about it the wires aren't even in the right spots, #3 should be in #4. Don't worry people I won't hurt him too bad.
I did the second one myself and I must say for not having much wiring ability it turned out the best, well much better than whats below. All of the wires are securly in the little metal things and they are all completly clicked into place in the housing in the right spots.

He hooked up 16 gauge wire to the pins, I could pull them out VERY easy. All I can say thank god it didn't work. Thats all I would have needed for something to short out.
