PLEASE help

Its Sunday and no one is open to help me with my questions. I recieved my SAFCII from buschur racing and started to install it this weekend along with stage II and cams. After installing stage II and wiring the SAFCII i went to turn on the ignition and the ECU clicks and makes an odd noise. The SAFCII is getting power however the screen does not display anything, i followed buschur's instructions on the wiring diagram to a T and I cant play with it anymore seeing as how i live Six hours away and must head back there so as not to miss class on monday. I was wondering if anyone knows what might be happening? And i followed APEXi's wiring diagram to match buschurs and they both agreed on where to solder what wire. I'm sorry for the long post but this has been all ive been doing for the last 3 days and this is the biggest dissapointment of all. Any help is much appreciated.

Double check it to this wiring diagram;

Orange is in from the sensor, pink is out to the ECU. Don't use blue, yellow, or white on the harness.
When looking at the wires did you make sure the clip was to the top?
Count the pins too. I would not trust colors.

Yeah i did all that and im not using blue, white or yellow. I counted the pins and used that diagram as a reference. Im thinking it may be a bad unit. Im not sure though.

Maybe this (from RRE);
No display or other power problems-
You have been swinging the AFC around by the wire harness. This will pull the harness out of it's internal socket. To check it or fix it, carefully unscrew the back cover with the proper small size Phillips screwdriver. Make sure the little connectors are plugged in all the way.

if you read the instructions on in the wiring manual.. you should be able to figure out whats not identical.. from this thread.. the RPM sig on tapped to the wrong wire.. look at your wiring diagram and find your ECU and go by the book.. pretty simple.. I tapped that RPM wire to what it said on that thread.. but my $hit was acting funny so I went by the book and everything is working just great!..
