I was wondering if it was normal for the service engine light to come on, stay on for two days and then just go away? I read the thread about the misfire code and believed I was experiencing this since it went down like the thread had talked about. I have an appointment to have it put on the machine that I will keep, just to know but I thought that it was weird for it to stay on for two days and then go away. Conditions when it came on: hot as hell, mid day, puttering around town looking at houses, very low rpm driving in 3rd. I'm probably peranoid but hey.
