Coming from an STI, the Ecutek is a very good reflash option for the STI, which has throttle by wire and ACVS, which is like the MIVEC for the '06 Evo.

It is a very popular with STI's and I heard it is launching for Evo's, so I believe it would be a very good option.

It is like a reflash with a couple of different options.

Yes, it very popular for the STi. I had a 04 STi ecutek'ed. It had plenty of torque and hp. One thing I did not like was everytime you upgraded or changed a mod you had to get a reflash which cost some dollars. So I changed over to COBB Street Tuner for the STi.
