Knock question
I noticed tonight I was knocking with my regular map, so I went to my ecu map with the same fuel but the timing is all ecu, it was still knocking in 4th and 5th gear at about 50% throttle and at 10 psi and right around 3000-3300rpm. How can the car knock on stock ecu timing?
This whole utec thing is really starting to get on my nerves and ready to pitch it out the window and switch to an aem and have ams tune it and be done with it.
The car is running fairly rich 10.8 all the way to redline.

Its hard to say.. Since your running really rich, it could legitimately be its a little too rich, also, if you look at your logs, I think you'll find at 3000-4000rpm in those gears, you may be in a different group of cells for your load sites.. you really have to look at your logs for 3rd gear, and 4th gear.. You will likely see the engine is taking a different path through the cells in the map (both timing and fuel) which means you could be making tweaks to cells that are never getting hit in that RPM Range.. I had that happen earlier this year when I switched from the standard MAF to the blowthrough setup.

I logged today and it's wierd, now the knock is gone. It was cooler outside last night, that might have been a factor. I was running a little richer than I thought. I installed the new IC and forgot about the boost drop, I am running in the low 10's to high 9's. I pulled a little more fuel out today and will post up the logs later.
I am going to redo the entire timing map, my computer crashed and lost a lot of info for the utec, I had almost the entire ecu timing converted to the utec tables. If anyone has one laying around and could send it to me. I just really really don't want to do that again, it takes quite a few hours to do it.
