Pocket Logger ODBII - Which vendor has these?

Ok so I've got a PLX-m500 and SAFC-II neither will give me a reliable log of knock/timing.

I'm looking for a Pocket Logger (ODBII) of some sort + good software.. anyone know an evom.net vendor that can give me a deal?

the auterra PDA dyno/scan tool is spectacular. PM Tswift and see if he's still around selling stuff. Or Auterra.com for vendors.

Auterra works on a laptop or a PDA. Right now they are having a 10% off sale because they are closec and shipments don't go out till the 21st (but the 10% off gets you free 2nd day shipping from CA). I purchased mine yesterday.

Some other options are:

www.autotab.com
www.pocketlogger.com
www.autoenginuity.com

I did all this research yesterday and decided to go with the Auterra because of the software options and the price. It seemed like the best bang for the buck.

I just got a pocketlogger and just started to mess with it yesterday to tune my fuel trims. Seems to work pretty well. I also have Innovate LM-1 for a wideband.

That autoenginuity one looks awesome for the Pocket PC.. I already have a little cradle on my dash for my Pocket PC (GPS feature).. that would make it complete. I'll have to keep that one in mind. It covers over 84 sensors on the car and has real time graphs, etc.. sweet utility. It says it has a bluetooth adapter so you wouldn't even need wires hanging everywhere. With that feature you could have someone standing outside the car with your Pocket PC and have them read the settings from over 30 feet away. It also has the ability to read the O2 sensor and shows a graph.. That is very useful for tuning your A/F ratio in graph form so you can see where it reads @ what RPMs. I'll ask for my g/f to buy the software and cable for me.. lol.

Auterra doesn't show you A/F ratio like a wideband would. So you would need WBO2 to know your true A/F ratio.

I have both Auterra and the zeitronix WBO2. I bought the wideband after the auterra- tuning capability is vastly superior with the WBO2. But the auterra has saved me hundreds of dollars in clearing CELs and diagnosing problems. It's fun to use the dyno on empty roads, and seeing all the information that the ECU is gathering is pretty impressive and helpful, too.

Damn them for releasing a PC version- grrr..... I could have had all-in-one Auterra/eManage and WBO2

I don't know that it would work on your VII though, do you have the OBDII connector?

Nice so it will clear codes and what not too? Now who wants to buy my scan tool :P

I haven't had any time to even read about it yet

Tuning with stock narrowbands is probably a bad idea :\

Yeah, it will clear codes, show you timing, the ECU adding/removing fuel. Check out the web site, it pretty much details everything for you.

Apart from the dyno features - what does the auterra product do that pocketlogger does not? Anyone?

Are users still happy with auterra's product? Would love to hear from users.

Thanks!
