Pocketlogger results

Only mod the car has is afc-II, and K&N filter. Shouldnt the car be running richer then what it is with these settings and mods, the car is not even getting to ~20 degrees timing.

Both where done in second gear,
afc-II settings at (5000=-2, 5600=-3, 6200=--3, 6800=-2, 7400=-1) every setting before 5k is set to 0,

6082 9 0.96
6566 12 0.94
7035 15 0.96

Just wanted to post my results and get others opinion.

Just wanted to post my results and get others opinion.
Ok, a couple of things:

1) You can't tune in 2nd gear...it's not good enough. You have to do AT LEAST 3rd gear, but I know it's hard, because of speed limit reasons. The readings in 2nd gear will not be sufficient for proper tuning.

2) It's really hot right now, so everything will run leaner than normal. If you were doing this in the winter, you'd have to lean out all the way to -12 or so by 7500 to get those O2s. For now, though, DON'T REMOVE FUEL below 5000, because it's lean there from the factory already and it's even moreso in the heat. If anything, ADD a few points of fuel at between 4200-5000. I usually have my 5k at 0, then I proggressively remove fuel from 5-7500. If you get it right, you'll have a nice, smooth timing curve that advances to 19-20 by redline (7600). I like my timing to at least be to 17-18 by 7000, so yeah, you are a little short at this point. I think your first log was good, but you didn't pull enough fuel at the top. We get richer and richer towards redline, so you want to remove MORE fuel, not less (you did -1 for some reason). You can see this in your O2, because it went up to .96, which is quite rich.

ur stock afr, after 5400 rpm, it'll start to dip down below 9afr very quick and it wont stop until the redline.
