Will the PFC L-Jetro (2003) work in a 2005?

I am guessing it will...but was not sure if the ACD had anything to do with the ECU, or if there were any major changes to the 2005 ECU over the 2003.

Thanks!

LOL yea...that would be me.

I think the pinout chart is the same from a 2003 to a 2005 is that correct? It would be interesting if I plugged in my L-Jetro and see if there is a noticeable difference in performance from the factory. It might need a flash or something like that, which I doubt I could get. But since its the MAF version of the PFC, its basically a 5 minute install (with 20 mins of idle testing).

It sucks being in a slow evo! LOL

Well I put in the Power FC, and reset the ECU back to factory default. Let it idle some, and went on some test pulls. With the high heat here (90+ degress at 10pm) and **** poor gas (91 oct with 10% eth blend), the thing was knocking like crazy. Finally got it to calm down with a -5 degree pull in ingition timing across the board. I don't have a wideband so I wasn't going to mess with my injection settings.

-5 degrees is pretty bad...but the car was definately stronger (my friend verified with his butt dyno). If I used 100 octane, I think this car would pick up 20 or 25 hp just by swaping the ECU with factory settings. Pretty impressive.

Damn JOe..... well congrats I guess..... Sounds like the knock would be attributed to the **** gas... since the PFC comes with a base map that is tuned for 101 octane jap gas.... But at least you dont have to buy a new comp!

Yea true.

I could just get back on the habit of getting 100 octane here at the local station...but 5.50 a gallon sorta sucks (and its going up)
