Cams = more rich than before?

Well I just did a log of my o2 readings (narrowband) and the voltages from 3.5k - 7k are all reading around .96-.98v, meaning that I'm definitely running rich throughout most of the powerband. Is this right? I thought by adding in the cams the car would naturally have more air coming in and shouldn't be as rich as this....unless before the cams the car was even running more rich than it currently is. The settings on my AFC before were from Buschur on their generic conservative tune. Any thoughts about my situation? Any help or insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

you definatly need to get the car tuned after you get the cams installed..it will make a big difference...both buschur and al would agree

more air means more fuel will be delivered. less air mean less fuel. and stock ECU map will try to give you rich if you suck in more air. And .96v is okay and safe. when your engine gets really hot, that number will become .92v or below.

Could I even get close for now with pocketlogger and narrowband? I dont have enough money for $300 wideband right now. I know Warralton uses just S-AFC and pocketlogger for his tuning.
