AFR question

I took this from my other post and this log is about 24hrs old from my car. Take a look at the rpm vs afr. I was wondering if I should keep it a little bit leaner in the lower rpms and then bring it to 11.1-11.4 in the 4000rpm area.

I think that might be a little too rich from the 2800-3100 rpm range and mioght help in spool up just a little bit. I noticed also that I am running a little on the rich side at 7k and above. I could have taken the car too 8k but ran out of on ramp road. My MAP column is about .8psi above my actual boost guage in the car, and the EVC V says peak boost was at 22.4. I know that I am running quite a bit of timing in the upper rpms but man you should feel the pull, I have ran about 24.5 degrees of timing above 7k and about 2-3 degrees more across the board but turned it back for reliability reasons. I also have to turn back the MAF overboost setting to 2000 so I can get back to running 100% load. Anyone else see any other problems or can add any other info? TIA

Yeah, you definitely can lean it out.. you see your boost ramps to 19psi by around 3750rpm, so I think you can lean it out as boost ramps to about 3500rpm, it should improve your spool significantly.. I run about the same timing and AFR as you on my car, I've run more timing, but when I switched to an upgraded ignition, I had to back of the timing a little..

I wonder if i bump the timing about 1.5 degrees along with leaning it out a little to say 12.2 or so, if that will spool faster then 3500. Satrt with about 20 degrees in the 2000rpm range then bring it down to 6-7 degrees at peak torque. Just typing out loud at this point so I can go back and reference my thoughts later or for others to help me with my "theories"
