i have a 03 evo 8 i wanted to know what kind of ecu upgrade i should get.

 

Get a flash (dynoflash, turbotrix, works, vishnu, etc) unless you plan on doing all of your own tuning, in which case you can get a piggy back (s-afc, xede, utec) or a standalone (AEM EMS).

Haha, do you have to tune it? Come on, man, do a LITTLE research on your own. The whole point of a flash is that you don't have to do anything. I said to get a flash "unless you plan on doing all your own tuning."

Go to that little nifty section we have called "vendors" and notice the vendor named "Dynoflash." Yes, he specializes in ECU flashes and has a mail-in for $199.

 

~$200, lol its your ecm, you pull it out, the vender you choose flashes(the flash edits/adjusts some of you maps) it, they give you your ecm back and you put it back in. Most of them have their own section in this forum called "Vender Forums".
