Tuning HKS 280's

I have installed HKS 280 cams today and had a 2 questions about tunning for them.

1. My car will run much leaner correct? I am getting 12.1-12.2 all the way to red line using my old map.

2. I added fuel on the 0% column for 750,1000,1250,1500 rpms. It goes from +10,+8,+4,+2. I noticed it helped idle quite a bit. Car runs fine at 850 rpms idle. Anything else needed to improve idle a bit more?

I have the following mods:

2003 Evolution

Megan Headers
Full 3" turbo back exhaust
Walbro 255 fuel pump
K&N drop in filter
Halman MBC set at 22psi
HKS 280 in/ex cams (stock cam gears)
Upper IC and Lower IC piping

I will be getting a APS cold air intake and Alcohol Injection kit this week. I fully tune the car once I get that stuff installed.

If someone with similar mods can just post your map that would really help me out I know that all cars are different etc.. I just want a good timing curve to follow.

I was going to pay to have my car tuned but after playing around with UTEC I am actually starting to make progress!!

I'd defiantely richen it up to 11.2-11.3. Basically the name of the game is to keep the short-term fuel trims as close to zero as possible. Play around with the idle speed if fuel alone doesn't help.

Added a little bit more fuel and got the AFR down a bit. I am just using UTEC for the AFR at the moment. I can't wait to play with timing!! This thing pulls harcore now!!! I love it.

Do you think I could up the rev limiter up to 8k on the stock retainers and valve springs?

7.5k would be good enough.

Definately looks different from mine. I'm positive in the teens or 20's everywhere. Not saying it's wrong, just different. Could be from the walbro overpowering the fpr. Post up the timing map and some logs.

are you running a aftermarket intake? my understanding is i will need to start adding fuel once i get the CAI. I am leaving timing to the stock ECU for now. Was just playing around with AFR and the cams to see how it performed. Hopefully my other stuff will get here tomorrow.

i run a buschur filter only. I've also seen these high fuel numbers on a stock airbox aswell so i don't think it's just me. Go ahead and post up the log anyway. I want to see your afr and timing from the ecu.

timing on the top end looks good. Could bump up the timing around 3500 or so to about 7 degrees? Just clean up the afr and you're pretty much set.

You on the stock turbo and when does the cams "kick in" I guess you could say, i've been considering 280s with Utec so i'm just trying to get some perspective, sorry for being offtopic

The 280's seem to kick in right around 4k rpm. The car just screams up to the redline without any power loss. Feels great and I don't know why people complain about the idle. Once I get all my parts installed and my tune dialed in I will dyno it.
