I had Dynoflash on my EVO originally. However this time around with my 2005 Apex Silver EVO 8 I am going to go with Works P2 and try that with the upgraded boost lines.

When I take a look at the volume of posts between Dynoflash and Vishnu regarding various related issues I get a little qweezy when reading about problems and possible solutions to them.

I figure I have already tried one vendor so why not try another to get a feel for the differences and approaches.

The thing that looks positive so far is that I see very few people come back on this forum complaining about an issue after they get a Works related tune. This could or could not be due to the amount of volume that one vendor will do over another which would reasonably explain the higher posts for a given product whether it be any of the flash vendors.

Can't hurt to try different people out and get an idea of the level of the product they offer as well as their technical/customer support.

I was also wondering between DynoFlash (Al), and WORKS.. which is better, or more beneficial to the car... and my pockets (money).

Good quote, but not always the case, especially in this one.

I guess we all could go circles on he day in day out saying who has the best flash...because we bought that specific flash.....but, what is that gonna prove without numbers. I personally choose WORKS because of the service I recieved from previous encounters and times I've talked on the phone with them. They explained everything easily and I'd say there parts are pretty much plug and play. I'm not here to argue with anyone but, choosing a flash is more of a preferance than anything else. Works is expensive. I know its a good part not a 4 dollar ebay part promising 20 hps gains. thats my thought process and like I say to each there own...and thats what makes this a forum.

Personally I think that a magazine should invite all the tuners to do their base ECU flash on a BONE stock EVO VIII running 91,92 or 93 octane (take your pick).

Works can put their P2 flash in with boost lines.
Dynoflash can put their base flash on with boost control.
Vishnu can put their XFlash
Turbotrix and Jestr can put in their comprable ECU flashes

Then an independent party can Dyno all of them under identical conditions and monitor A/F, timing, knock, HP/Torque, and whatever else.

This would be awesome if someone did something like this and did a complete article write-up.
