oops, missed out the most important part, the wideband and some kind of datatlogging to show knock, afr, ......preferably all in the same window

every car is different, just have good knock sensor, EGT monitor and ability to trim/add fuel/timing and experiment. Slowly one parameter at a time.

yeah, PLX M-300 (the mid range device) will be cost effective.. but for ultimate tuning solution, just go with the PLX R-500 (wideband, real time logging, knock, egt, g-sensor, dyno, software and firmware update, etc..etc..)
