having some software issues

i love my ecu + so far and have had a few great tuning sessions with it with my local tuner. however, i have put the program on my computer wich is less than a year old and is quite powerful in terms of speed and memory capacity. however, when the program runs off of my computer and i go to make a change and hit the "ok" button or whatever, the blue screen of death comes up telling me that there was a fatal error. i tried reloading the software and it did the same thing. maybe there is something that i am overlooking here, but i reall dont think that it is my computer becuase it handles everything else that i throw at it fine. thanks for any help!

Since none of the general public on these forums will be able to help you with that, it would probably be best to contact Tom (the software creator) directly for help.

Yea, send me an e-mail. But let me guess - you're using a USB-to-serial adapter. I've had a number of folks who have had problems with variously-branded-but-same-manufacturer adapters (in fact we had this with Mach V Dan's laptop early on). Take a look on http://forums.ecuplus.com - there's several threads there about adapter problems along with solutions.
