Apex-i GT Spec exhaust with clearance?

Apex-i GT Spec exhaust with clearance?
Just wondering if anyone knows if the Apex-i GT spec exhaust is long enough to have clearance from the back and prevents the paint from getting melted and or black stuff all over it? Any help would be great
