I am told Evo9 Ecu's have a different plug config. Lemme ask a IX owner I know what their ECU pinout looks like...

sorry if this question has been asked before but does the MAFT Pro control timing directly or just by manipulating the MAF signal?

Also is there any type of knock sensor monitor?

You cannot manipulate MAF without changing fueling, so no. Timing is changed by changing the maf signal.

Since no one answered his question I guess I will take a stab at it.

You can hook it all up and call it a day if you want, but why buy something you can't play around with? Thats the fun part of tuning a car, at least to me it is. My "map" is a little modified from the stock file that is supplied but not very far off.

No EMS piggyback or standalone is precalibratred but most all of them come with a very close map to get your car running, then it's all up to you or your tuner.

I am very pleased with the Maftpro and couldn't really think of using anything different right now.

Many have had questions about what all is included, what are options, can it be run with or without the MAF, whether boost control is an option or if you can use your existing boost control and what options are required for a specific application. I have this diagram that should make things a little easier.

If there are any further questions, please ask them in this thread or PM us!

I didnt see this anywhere. Waht do you do about running c16? Like the afc2, you have 2 different calibrations to swap between. Does this have a feature like that? Also for the AFR, is there an option for the LM-1? And, anything for some type of knock control, or anything of the sort? Thanks

You have unlimited MAPs much like AEM.

One for 87, 91, 93, 94, 100, 104, 110, 112, 116, 118, meth only etc.
Use you imagination

Yes, in fact I believe the LM1 and the Zeitronix that we use have the same sensor. Just about every wideband is supported with different calibration files.

It is a piggyback to the stock ECU which is the best part because it uses the stock ECU's advanced knock control which is the best anyhow.

Will this work with a PLX R-500 wideband and also, my evo will be a daily driver through the conditions of chicago weather 0F winters 100F summers, so would i need to keep retuning this solution like i would an AEM or would this be a flexible solution as i have a limited budget and i can't keep getting retunes

TurboBobBailey: yes, plx is supported unless you mean the blue-tooth wireless mode

You can set it up for both. There is intake air temp fueling correction and/or map switching available.
