switchable maps...
i have a wrx right now with an ecutek tune, they did not offer a 2 step(atleast i dont think so) so i was wondering if they offered switchable maps, becuz i know there was talks of it, jes curious becuz this will be the deciding factor whether i go with ectuek or not....thanks alot!!!
Not at this time - they were able to do that on the Subaru due to the fact that there were automatic and manual versions on the ecu with seperate boost levels - not yet a possibility in the evo
the subaru ecus that had 'switchable maps' only made a change between boost maps... hopefully we should see multiple map options in the near future (hopefully for both mitsubishi and subaru)

Bump for any info on improvements to the current ECUTEK. It is really starting to **** me off that they have not come up with any logging or user tuning features. When I first got it I was really hoping it would end up being more similar to the wrx version.....naive...yeah.It seems to me that ECUTEK has not put development efforts into improving their evo product. Sorry for the rant.

P.S. I use the AVC-R because the ecu cant handle boost that great past 22 psi and I am running a 35r on my STi.
so word around the campfire is that this is coming out real soon (next month maybe)... I have some preliminary pricing and I can say that it isn't as cheap as i thought it would be for a serial cable and some software. However, the functionality from what Im told is supposed to be on par with COBB Accessport...
Any idea whats pricing if we already have the softwear? I can't wait for this I've been kicking myself in the rear for not just paying a couple hundred more for something with switchable maps.
