Has anyone noticed a NOT-SO-AIRTIGHT seal around the stock airbox with stock air filter. I opened up my stock airbox to check out the filter and as I clipped it all back together I noticed the two outside corners don't totally seal airtight..the filter is in correct and everything is lined up but still can't get the perfect seal..wonder if it is a plastic defect from MITS...anyone have similar problem/observation?

 

yaa i noticed that too soo i said **** it and got a cold air intake

 

yeah the CAI is nice and im sure the turbo spools nice and loud now..but I just don't think I need it since the stock intake is great up to about 500HP. I will get the K&N drop filter for now..
