I just surfed Turboxs website and I haven't seen it yet. I think is too soon to get it for the Evo 9. By the way, I had a UTEC in the past and never like it.

Well, opinions on the unit are pretty subjective so you'll have to do your research. But the Evo IX does not yet have a UTEC available, and may never have one due to the fact that its using a new ECU and wiring harness to it. If there is an 07 Evo that shares the same ECU and Wiring then you might see the UTEC updated for that platform.

Its hard to create a brand new unit for something that had less than 10,000 cars produced since it might not be cost effective for them.

The UTEC is a strange animal, it does what it promises well, that some people can go too far and do harm to their engine (just like a standalone) And unfortunately, many WRX Owners were stung with issues early on with their version of the UTEC that many who have moved on to the Evo are biased against it. Which is totally understandable. But I personally have been running mine since the UTEC has been released for the Evo (I have one of the first units available for our cars) And have had NO issues with it, or problems with the car that can be directly attributed to the UTEC. I also have several people local to myself who run the UTEC, and are producing HP numbers that rival standalones.

But to make a long story short, you might not see the UTEC for an IX. But fortunately you have other options such as a Reflash, etc..
