Flash or not to Flash that is my Question!

Is Vishnu the best way to go to get some quick Hp or should I wait do some mods then get it flashed? I've only got a HKS Air filter right now but I might get a down pipe and all, but I wonder if Vishnu requires a list of mods or if it's a straight flash for more Hp.

If you are going to do the rest of the mods in the near future, I would recommenda waiting. The flash should optimize your specific setup and will require that you re-flash post new mods (in order to optimize performance).

I went with Dynoflash and did a pre and post dyno run and was quite happy, so I definitely feel the flash is worth the money (shiv or al or works or ams or br)......

A flash will greatly benefit you, no matter how many mods you have. The thing you have to think about is.......when are you getting more mods? The problem I see right now is........you have an intake with no tune! That is killing your car.........your probably running slower than stock right now!

I currently only have a HKS Drop-in air filter, not the whole unit. So would I still lose Hp or would it only increase Hp? Or would it possibly just make air flow better and resonse without Hp increase?

You don't need a tune for a drop in filter, just when you get a coned style filter.

But yes, a flash is definitely worth it.

A flash is always helpful. You should have had one since 04...the Evo would have been much more enjoyable with no change in sound, drivability, or reliability. It's a great mod that can't even bee seen or detected.

you dont need a flash for just a drop in filter or a cone style either unless your using the intake tube also.if your gonna mod do it all at the same time then get it dynoflashed or whoever you choose so you dont have to get multiple flashes every time you upgrade. if your not gonna upgrade for a while and just use a drop in then i would get it flashed. you will definetely feel a difference in power and driveability.

No no no. I already am getting a drop in air filter, but I was questioning what next to do. The Vishnu flash is a given for the fact that you can get that much for very little work. I also enjoy that it doesn't affect your car or your driveablilty. But I wonder what small upgrade I can do next without affecting my car yet is small and minor.
