Red face 2003 Evo - Voltage Clamp

I have a 2003 Evo to which I have added a boost controller. Therein is my problem. I throws a code to the ECU that the boost is higher than normal and then limits the RPM to 4000.

I am looking for a voltage clamp to limit the signal to 5v. Does anyone know who makes a device?

Thanks

wow...um....sorry budd i never had this problem, and at one point i had the Apexi AVC-R boost controller, never had any complaints and mine was a 2003 evo as well ?? never had a problem with rpm at all, i would check to ensure that your wiring is correct or that the boost controller has the proper settings on it, it could be set on running the V-tech mode in which evo's do NOT have :P hope this was of some use to you, good luck, lataaaa

You won't throw a code with an RPM limiter for installing a boost controller. Thousands of people have done it. You are either misinformed or have a unique case.

YOU WILL THROW A CODE howerever, if you took out the factory boost solenoid instead of just leaving it and capping it off. This code won't limit your RPM

Have you read your code to see exactly what it is?

Are you pushing retarded amounts of boost??
