does anyone know anything about the cobb ecu chip that is coming out for the evo? Like when it is coming out or price? Thanks

Cobb tuning for en Evo? When did this happen? They are Subaru only as far as I know.

The access port for evos is out and in testing and will be released for SEMA - its going to be a huge step forward in evo tuning. Live map access and map tracing and more maps are just a few of the features.

 

Go to Cobb's website for more information. The new version will be very compact (no lugging a laptop around) and will store numerous maps ( including anti theft, economy, and a great "valet" map). Apparently it will also give you 0 to 60 and quarter mile times as well. I guess it's kind of controversial given the open archietcture that's available now basically for free. But, if you're aren't a computer type it should be a hit. Subaru owners seem to love it.
