boost issue

i recently installed a boost gauge and im surprised to see that when i get on it in 1-3 gears it tappers to 15 by redline, but when i get on it in 4th it holds 20 til about 4 grand then falls to 17 then shoots back to 20 at like 6 grand then tappers to 15. has anybody else had this issue. im completely stock and i dont think i have a leak ive checked. am i gettin over boost and its cuttin it off? any knowledge shared is greatly appreciated. ty l8r

hi, my car doing same thing here.
one of my friends told me that factory unit always does it, and in order to fix that problem, I need to get a boost controller so that it will holds the boost. that's what he told me.
I still not sure what's wrong. I also posted a post about that problem, so I hope I can hear something back about this...
don't worry too much bro, there are alway helpful information in this froum
